The operation of the sanctuary is performed by a group of loyal volunteers.

The volunteer staff consist of individuals who enjoy being around cats. Normally, the volunteers will perform approximately 1 to 2 hours of volunteer service weekly.

The volunteer duties include: animal care, office duties, computer support, fund raising activities, and adoption events.

Volunteer applications are available at the sanctuary office during sanctuary business hours.

New volunteers are ALWAYS welcomed!

Miss Kitty’s Fabulous Finds is an all volunteer resale shop. All merchandise is donated by friends and supporters of Miss Kitty.

The net proceeds of the operations of the shop are provided to Miss Kitty to assist in funding operating costs. Donated items to the shop are tax deductible by the donor and donation confirmation letters are available for this purpose.

The shop will arrange to have larger items such as furniture, picked up. Donated items may include most household items, jewelry, accessories, art and books, pet accessories, and new clothes. (Tags must still be attached)

The resale shop is located on 212 Smith Ave in Thomasville. The operating hours are Wednesday thru Saturday from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm.

At Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary, every Spring we are inundated with tiny kittens who need help. Perhaps their mother was hit by a car, is unable to nurse, or abandoned her litter. Then, it’s up to us to provide what they need to survive. Bottle Feeding with special formula every few hours, heating pads to keep them warm, a sanitary environment, veterinary care and medications, and wet and dry food when they are weaned from the bottle.

Most of these kittens are cared and treated for by the knowledgeable staff at our facility. When possible, we also place kittens in capable foster homes. You provide the love and care we provide everything else.

To foster an animal is a great gift of love and kindness. It not only holds a special place in your heart, but it makes a difference in their lives as well.
